PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
Under moderate supervision, performs complicated and difficult functional and operational tests, calibrates and troubleshoots electronic and electro-mechanical systems. Provides support to assemblers in troubleshooting and repair of assemblies and/or top units. May work in new product assembly or product repair (after sale).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs testing, troubleshooting, checkout, calibration, adjustment, rework, modification, and repair of printed circuit boards, subassemblies, units and/or systems, following written test and diagnostic procedures.
- Troubleshoots down to subassembly level and/or at the subassembly level down to component level, including printed circuit defects or wiring errors.
- Sets up and operates a variety of pneumatic equipment including regulators, flow stations, and pressure gauges. Sets up and operates electronic equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, power supplies, and computer controlled equipment.
- Records discrepancies encountered due to deficiencies in the design, manufacture, and test procedures or component reliability. Record data on documentation associated with the specific work performed.
- Reviews own work for completeness to workmanship standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Requires two years of college or technical trade school, or military training in appropriate science and electronic courses.
- Requires approximately 2 years experience as a technician.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, production and engineering drawings, and engineering/manufacturing changes or work instructions.
- Ability to solder to manufacturing standards.
- Good verbal/written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Safety, Quality, Company Policies, GMP, ISO 13485/2003 and Product Knowledge.
