Unit can be traded-in for new Vent at discount price of $14,900.
Serial numbers 311460 and above manufactured after 06-01-96, can be upgraded or traded in for a new unit at a discount price.
New instruments will be backed by a one-year warranty.
System serial number TMA11368 and above are built with 3.0 ohm drivers.

Upgrading to a 3-Ohm linear driver motor offers the following benefits:
The new drive will extend the scheduled preventive maintenance by 50%. PM's are provided at 6,000-hour
intervals instead of 4,000 hours.
Reduced PM requirements will provide a minimum savings of $6,200 over the projected life of the ventilator.
The 3100 ventilators with the 3-Ohm drivers are less intrusive in the NICU environment by virtue of being 60% quieter.
The 3-Ohm drivers run cooler, potentially extending the life of the electrical components.
All upgraded units are backed by a six-month warranty on the driver.

The price for the upgrade kit is $6,500 + labor and travel charges.
For customers under Service Contract:
Total Service contract coverage: Price for the upgrade kit is $5,500, labor and travel will be provided at no charge under this service contract.
Parts Only contract: Labor and travel will be billed separately.
